From our very first meeting, the connection was there. A certain ease. Shared interests. A free flow of conversation. Our time together always nourishing, relaxed, alive. An awareness that being together felt more natural than being apart. That we made each other laugh.
We also had a meaningful range of relevant life experiences in common. We were both in Myrtle Beach because of the Meher Spiritual Center. We each had publishing, media and business histories to draw upon. We were each at a particular inflection point in our lives that made it possible for our relationship to unfold and deepen until we knew for sure that we wanted to be married as the best way to empower us to celebrate our love for each other to the fullest extent.
